Welcome and thank you for your interest in commissioning me. This page and the prices are only meant for private commissions. For commercial commissions, please contact me directly at info@nadineoestreich.com with any proposals and queries. Information regarding, scope, timeline, and budget are required. Commercial rates are variable and differ to the rates for personal commissions.

Style Overview & Pricing
Sketch
A clean sketch of 1 character, either with a simple B/W color or fully colored. Sketches are not fully rendered and the sketch lines will be visible in the end product.

Character Design
I will design 1 character based on a description you provide and create a character sheet for you. This will include research, clothing/armor, and the character itself. The main focus here is the design. You can choose as many extras as you like for the character sheet.

Commission Agreement and Terms of Service
By commissioning me you are agreeing to the following terms. Please read carefully.
- After filling out the Commission Form I will get back to you with any questions I have and send you an invoice with the pricing.
- After payment is received, I will start working and send an initial sketch (or a couple options), so you can approve and ask for adjustments if necessary. After approval of the sketch I will continue working until completion. Progress shots are sent for clarifying important parts of the commission (e.g. to clarify the lighting conditions) or if requested by you. If you require a major change at an advanced stage of the painting (e.g. change pose), I will charge extra.
- Size is usually A4, 300 dpi, delivered in JPG file format unless you ask otherwise. I will send you a full resolution artwork and a smaller web version that you can post online if you want. Prices may vary for larger artworks.
- Depending on complexity, Commission will be finished within 1-4 weeks. If delays arise, you will be notified.
- All payment should be in € via Paypal. I will send an invoice.
- Payment is due in full upfront for any commission equal to or below 200€.
- For amounts greater than 200€, I require 50% of the final amount upfront and the other 50% after the work is done.
You’ll receive a small resolution/watermarked version for reviews in this case, and will receive the full resolution after final payment is made.
- Prices are for personal use only; no commercial use allowed. You may not sell or exchange my art in any form, physical or digital, print or NFT, under any circumstances unless you have my express written permission AND you have paid for the right to do so. You also may not use my art in any published material, even free material, on any online marketplace. You can make prints for personal use.
- The rights to the art I create, including commissions, belong to me. By commissioning me, you’re purchasing my artist labor and a digital copy of your commissioned artwork. I retain all the rights to my work, which include but are not limited to the right to distribute, reproduce, copy and/or use the image as a sample for sales or self-promotion.
- You may resize or crop the artwork to create icons, wallpapers, or other graphics to be used in non-commercial digital format, but you cannot alter the artwork itself.
- If you’d like the commission to remain private (not ever published anywhere), an extra can be charged.
- I reserve the right to reuse sketches and design elements that were rejected by the commissioner for other commissions or personal works.
- If you wish to cancel your commission during the sketch stage you will be refunded 50% of what you’ve paid.
- If you wish to cancel your commission after the sketching stage, there will be no refund.
- You’ll receive a full refund if for any unjustifiable reason I’m unable to finish the commission.
